Carmen Reece Releases Latest Single “Raindrop”.

(JUNE, 2010) Carmen Reece is following the success of her debut single, “Right Here”, with the release of her follow up single “Raindrop”.  Produced by Mark J. Feist (Beyonce, Kelly Rowland) The track also has a blazing remix by burning hot mixmaster Dave Aude. (Rihanna, PussyCat Dolls, Britney Spears)

Echoing the trajectory of other artists, like Lady Gaga and David Guetta, that entered the Top 40/Pop Radio arena after conquering the dance charts, Carmen’s first single “Right Here” went #3 on the Billboard Dance Radio Chart, and broke a Billboard Dance Chart Record. “Raindrop” is being serviced and released to Top 40 Radio in May.

All this as ground-floor fans are hailing her as “Diva 2.0” and drawing comparisons to Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, and Beyoncé. That designation is bolstered by Carmen’s having been “discovered” by multi-platinum producer-songwriter Mark Feist, known for his work with the likes of Beyoncé, Céline Dion, and Natalie Cole, among other world class recording artists.  “Raindrop” was written by Carmen, Feist and Rose Marie Tan (who wrote “Damaged” for Danity Kane).

Carmen has also made an impact on TV where she has appeared on the morning shows in NY, Chicago, DC and other cities, and has performed on the Brian McKnight TV show (seen over 200 markets).  Her first single, “Right Here”, was played on Ugly Betty for almost 2 minutes during the highly watched last weeks of the series.

Carmen has spent the last 6 months on an extensive US radio promotion tour laying the ground work to release “Raindrop” to Top 40/Pop Radio.  She has performed in the hottest clubs all over the country and recently appeared at a sold-out arena concert in Wichita KS, sharing the bill with Flo-Rida, Kevin Rudolph and Kris Allen.

Carmen Reece is the epitome of the term, triple-threat. The 22-year-old singer/songwriter/pianist/ boasts an impressive musical resume, and is emerging as a serious presence with the upcoming debut of her album, Love in Stereo.

RAINDROP is now available for purchase on I-Tunes,  click here : http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/raindrop/id367981088

CARMEN REECE MAKES BILLBOARD HISTORY WITH HER SMASH HIT “RIGHT HERE”

REECE BECOMES FIRST NEW ARTIST WITH A DEBUT SINGLE TO EVER CLIMB FROM THE #12 TO #3 SPOT IN ONLY 2 WEEKS ON THE TOP 40 DANCE AIRPLAY CHART

(October 5, 2009 – New York, NY) Singer and Songwriter Carmen Reece has burst onto the scene with her debut single “Right Here,” making history as the first new artist with a debut single to ever climb from #12 to #3 in only 2 weeks on the Billboard Top 40 Dance Airplay Chart. Discovered by multi-platinum songwriter and producer Mark J. Feist (Beyonce, Celine Dion), the 22-year-old singer, songwriter and classically trained pianist from London has quickly become one of the hottest and most sought after new artists to emerge this year. Feist says, “Carmen is raw talent, she’s an amazing singer, songwriter and pianist. She truly is a catalog artist that appeals to all ages and that’s rare to come by these days”.

Through an ongoing series of national club performances, most recently in front of a packed house at the famous Mirage Casino/Hotel in Las Vegas, Carmen’s undeniable ability to blow audiences away with her live show has contributed greatly to her growing fan base and industry buzz – with many of her early and loyal fans pegging her as “Diva 2.0.”

Carmen’s Mark J. Feist produced hit single “Right Here” has developed a grass roots fan based movement boasting regular play in clubs across the country. Her club play has increased exponentially after a remix by renowned producer and famed remixer, Dave Aude (Lady GaGa, Beyonce, Pussycat Dolls).

Not only spinning in the clubs, “Right Here” is currently getting huge national radio air-play in markets such as NY, CHICAGO, SEATTLE and on SIRIUS XM, AOL MUSIC, and MUSIC CHOICE. The single is garnering Top 5 phone-ins in some of these markets. All this airplay has caused the big jump on the Billboard Top 40 Airplay Dance Chart, only 2 weeks after its chart debut.

The debut single is just a hint of what’s to come. Currently on a national promotional tour, Carmen is also busy adding the final touches to her debut album with producer Mark J. Feist. Titled "Love in Stereo," the album finds the songstress exploring the kind of love that hits you from all sides (on the title track), stepping into the shoes of a girl who's not going anywhere but forward after being dismissed by her man (first single "Right Here"), and reflecting on the difficulty of ending a relationship that's simply run its course ("Long Goodbye"). Fans can catch Carmen’s next performance in New Jersey as the opening act to superstar Pitbull on October 17th.
